Basil Pesto
This post is just pretty to the point. You either like pesto or you don't. If you like it - here is the recipe that I like best to date! Make just right before serving as to not make the oil rise to the top.
Combine all ingredients in blender:
2 Cups Basil (has anyone found another way to buy basil other then in plant form?)
2 Cloves Garlic
1/4 Cup pine nuts
2/3 Cup extra virgin olive oil
Salt/ pepper to taste
1/2 cup of Pecorino Romano cheese
Serve over pasta or pizza or whatever else will fulfill your pesto craving! =)
